Our Story



Silvertip Brewing has been a long time coming.

Ryan and I (Lindsey) are high school sweethearts, and nearly two decades ago, we started dreaming about opening a brewery of our own. That dream grew alongside our family, our experiences and our love for Shaver Lake.

We grew up visiting Shaver, spent some of our early years here, and lived here when we welcomed our first child. Over the years, Shaver has become much more than a place we love to visit. It’s a place where we’ve made some of our favorite memories, built friendships, and developed a deep connection to the community.

When we finally decided to bring our brewery dream to life, there was really only one place that felt right!

Silvertip is about craft beer, but it’s also about community. We’re building a place where people can gather, connect, celebrate, and feel at home—a place for the people who live here, the families who come back year after year, and the visitors discovering Shaver Lake for the first time.

We care deeply about the community we’re building Silvertip in, just as much as we care about the craft behind what we’re brewing. Our hope is that Silvertip becomes a place people look forward to coming back to, season after season. We can't wait to share it with you and raise a glass together!
